Users struggled to understand what information was required and how to proceed, creating friction early in the experience.

PROBLEM

DISCOVERY

The project started as a design challenge during a hiring process.
The goal was to analyze a real user flow and propose improvements focused on clarity, usability, and decision-making.

RESEARCH

I analyzed the structure of the form, identified usability issues, and evaluated how users interpret instructions and input fields during onboarding.

INSIGHTS

Users needed clearer instructions, better visual hierarchy, and a more predictable structure to understand what information was required.

SOLUTION

I redesigned the form structure to improve clarity, simplify the flow, and guide users through the onboarding process with clearer instructions and hierarchy.

DESIGN DECISIONS

  • Simplified form structure to reduce cognitive load

  • Clearer labels and instructions for each field

  • Improved visual hierarchy to guide user attention

  • Structured layout to support predictable progression

OUTCOME

The redesigned solution demonstrated a clear problem-solving approach focused on usability and structure.

The project successfully showcased the ability to analyze a user flow, identify friction points, and propose a practical design solution.
